There would be a lot of room in bed,
Room for your cat, room for your dog
A stack of books and your pet frog.
One pillow then would quite suffice.
Not washing sheets would be quite nice.
And if you just let both legs grow,
You could push the light switch with your toe.
You could wear a pillow hat,
But your hair would get all pushed up flat.
Every smile would be a frown
And all your dreams go upside down.
Wear pajamas or your night gown,
Either one would slide right down,
And if there was a winter breeze
I'm sure that you would freeze your knees
So good bye dog and good bye frog
Good bye books and good bye cat.
It's better if you're sleeping flat
